Each boom drills holes from 2 ft to 13 ft vertically, and the same feed installs the split sets used for sidewall reinforcing — 6 ft and 8 ft rods on the standard feed, 10 ft rods via the feed extension. A hydraulic clamp fitted to the feed handles both rods and split sets quickly and efficiently, covering clamping and collaring in one system.
Combined with automatic drilling and collaring, the feed system delivers consistent, high-quality support installation with minimal manual handling at the face.
